Transfer Passport to homeowner
After handover, the homeowner becomes the primary controller of the property record. You retain an appropriate historical record in line with permissions and data retention settings.
Project Passport is the record. Builder Standard is the independent verification.
From any milestone in a Passport you can request independent verification. The evidence already stored, photographs, documents and certificates, is shared with Builder Standard, who assess it against pre-agreed milestone criteria. The outcome (Verified, Further evidence required, or Not verified) returns to the Passport and becomes part of the property's permanent history.
Builder Standard is a separate, independent service and using it is optional. Its verification is distinct from Building Control inspection and approval, and Project Passport does not verify workmanship itself.
